Freelance Writing
I am available to write short and mid-length nonfiction articles for a variety of publications;
deadlines and length are carefully met. Please feel free to contact me
with questions and/or assignments.
My first written piece was published in Newsday, and won their award for Letters to the
Editor when I was eight years old. Over the decades since then, I've had articles published
in such prestigious magazines as Travel & Leisure, California Business, The Writer,
and Chelsea News. In addition, I have contributed to full-length books, including The Book of the Bible,
Cultures Beyond the Earth, and The Fifty-Eighth Century. Please see my Portfolio

Copywriting
I am also available to write business-related materials such as brochures, bios, press releases, and
presentations. Please contact me to discuss assignments.
Ghostwriting
On a limited basis, I am available to ghostwrite your book. I have helped bring two books from ideas
to pages, and will be happy to discuss working with you on your project. Please

EDITORIAL SERVICES
Copyediting
With more than 30 years of experience as an editor, copyeditor, proofreader, and fact checker, I am
happy to offer copyediting services to individuals as well as publishers. Professional copyediting
services pick up where computer-generated spell-checking and grammar-checking leave off. Your personal
writing style will be respected, sequencing will be tracked, inconsistencies marked, deadlines met,
and queries neatly forwarded to you.
My clients have included Alfred A. Knopf, Random House, Fodor's Travel Guides, GQ, Travel & Leisure,
and Town & Country, as well as such individual authors as Sandra Ingerman and Jason Blume.
For longer works, I charge $2/page. Please contact me about rates for shorter work, including
business-related materials.
CD Inserts
One of my favorite editorial activities has been to proofread CD inserts, including lyrics. I will be
happy to do so for your CD insert for $50-$100 (depending on length) plus two autographed copies of the
finished CD.
